Context
For Parallels 03, Trollbäck+Company needed Porsche’s on-road design language to read as kin to the S-91X starfighter in Obi-Wan Kenobi—without access to Lucasfilm’s official ship model.
Strategy
Use match cuts and shared form language to visually connect Porsche footage with the S91X—focusing on rhythm, shape, and edit over verbal explanation.
Solution
Liberati sourced a fan-made S-91X model, refined it for accuracy, and rendered shots aligned to Porsche footage—giving editors seamless, design-led transitions between car and spacecraft.

THROUGH BEN'S LENS We dropped Porsche footage into the classic Star Wars binocular view—retro interface and all. Same UI, different galaxy. It’s a quick blink at the design overlap, and a fun nod to the parallels.

PROTOTYPE The in-studio frames were styled after the Porsche Design Lab—white foam core walls, printouts pinned with their signature hardware—reimagined to showcase renderings of the S91X in a space where car meets concept.
