Shaping the future of XR experiences through cinematic branding and strategic design.
Context
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR campaign needed to communicate the promise of immersive technology in a way that felt elevated, cinematic, and emotionally engaging. The initial direction leaned toward simple 2D stock imagery, but the campaign needed a stronger visual approach to reflect the depth, presence, and possibility of XR.
Strategy
Shift the approach from flat graphic treatment into a more immersive 3D visual experience. By building the spot around organic underwater movement, scale, and atmosphere, the campaign could better express the feeling of entering another world — aligning the visuals with the core promise of XR rather than relying on generic tech motifs.
Solution
Liberati developed a cinematic 3D animation approach using animated marine life, atmospheric environments, and carefully staged movement to create a stronger sense of immersion. A beluga whale asset was adapted, rigged, and animated to anchor the hero moment, with multiple versions created to refine the final shot and support the campaign’s evolving creative direction.
